News and Gratitudes

I hope you’ve enjoyed getting to meet some other bloggers these past few weeks! I know I really appreciated their tips – several of them have already been put to good use in my own life. In case you missed any of the posts, here’s the short list of who wrote what:

Choose Joy – by Choosing Joy Daily
An Invitation to Rest – by Jana’s 3 Dresses
Reading Deliberately – by The Deliberate Reader
Wait on the Lord – by Barefoot Hippie Girl
Reading Christianly – by firstfire
Choosing Joy – by Joy-Filled Days
Timing is Everything – by Modern Mrs. Darcy

I also want to share a brand-new site with you: What’s On My Nightstand. Self-proclaimed bookworm Carrie Koens (of Carrie’s Busy Nothings) shares reviews and ratings of the books she reads. You can also find her new site on Facebook and Twitter.

And I had an idea the other day… My spiritual birthday is coming up on October 28. And I would love to do something to celebrate! Since I don’t normally post on Sundays, I’ll be sharing about my salvation story on Monday, October 29. And I was thinking about hosting a linkup, for you to share YOUR salvation stories! We each have a unique testimony of how God called us to Himself, and I would love to read about them! So be ready to share your salvation story on October 29!

  1. Love it! All of it. Thanks! 🙂 I’ll keep the 29th in mind, although I already have a post scheduled for that day, but I could change it. My story isn’t too exciting though – I was 3. 🙂 Have a great Friday!

    1. Carrie, I was 3 as well! And no, it wasn’t dramatic, but I think everyone’s story is interesting – because everyone’s is unique to them. Would love to hear yours! 🙂

  2. Looking forward to the salvation stories.

    1. Thanks Debbie! I hope you’ll be participating – would love to read your story!
